A Letter from Carol
Hello! Hello! Hello!
To all of you who joined us on our last Carol Duvall Crafting
Cruise …..AND to all of you who didn’t join us
but thought you might like to go “next time”…
“NEXT TIME” is about to happen…..and
we are already getting excited.
The Who, What, Where and When details are explained
on the web site but here are a few more personal notes…..
Because everybody seemed to have such a good time last time
you’ll notice that the same experts will be
returning…..Donna, Priscilla, Karen, Mary and, of course,
Tim. Mary has promised NOT to do Paste Paper again and we
intend to hold her to that promise.
And…. as if that line-up isn’t enough
to make this cruise the envy of all others, we have two more
popular experts joining us this time…..Tricia Morris
and Dee Gruenig!!!!! How’s that for a power house of
talent?
We read and truly studied all of the evaluation sheets that
you turned in, and they were a great help in our planning
for Cruise #2….So, based on your suggestions and things
that we learned for ourselves here are the plans:
We have scheduled our classes around the excursions and
days in port as much as possible so that more of you will
not have to choose between taking a class or going ashore.
You’ll be able to do both. But for those who prefer
to stay on board when we are in port there will be SOME classes
scheduled…. the projects will be the same. "This
time there will be night time classes as well as Midnight
Madness classes plus a room for crafting after hours"...
A number of you wanted a bit more “close up and personal”
time so instead of teaching classes I will play hostess at
several “Coffees With Carol” when we get together
to talk over a cup of coffee. Tickets will be required but
only so we can keep the gatherings reasonably intimate. There
will be no charge, of course.
Notice that some of the experts have not given detailed
information about the specific projects they will teach. They
reasoned that by the time of the cruise they might have discovered
or developed some idea or technique that they were excited
about, and if they promise something specific this far ahead
they would be locked into that project. Just know that whatever
they do, it will be fun. Unless otherwise stated, each expert
will be doing the same project(s) in every class so you can
try more things….or take one class twice.
We hope that all of you who were with us last time will
be joining us again and will bring your friends and husbands
along. We hope that all who decide to spend these seven great
days with us will understand that this is NOT a non-stop crafting
time that could as easily be held on dry land but a wonderful
vacation cruising the Mexican Riviera and having the bonus
of being able to chat and craft with the experts along the
way!
See you next October!!!!!
Cheers,
